Reclaiming Christ: an emergent and spiralic approach to Christ consciousness, mysticism, self-love, and oneness
A new course that invites us to cultivate the Divine within. This is Christ consciousness through the lens of oneness, spiritual anarchy, animism, ecology, self-love, community, mystery, and mysticism. A holographic collapsing of time expanding in the now.
This class is not about religion or hero worship, but an opportunity to rethink what we define as living and what we define as consciousness. To approach each moment as multidimensional space travelers on the latest leg of our multi-stop tour of Earth. Here's how the structure of this course is shaping up:

Session 1: And in the darkness the light is shining, and the darkness never got hold of it. The birth of consciousness. The origins of Yeshua as Christ and what we can learn from the way his story is told in Biblical and heretical texts and channelings. Love as the prevailing force of the universe seen through the holy trinity of Yeshua, Maryam (Mother Mary), and Mary Magdalene.
Session 2: Seek and do not stop seeking until you find. Mystery, quiet, awe, and devotion to God-as-all. Wonder and curiosity as fruits of Divine. Session 3: Don’t be afraid, little flock, for your Creator saw fit to give you the kingdom. Sensitivity, intuition, values, safety, security, and learning to feel at home on Earth as an incarnate spirit. Session 4: Go in the narrow door. Frequency, energetics, aligning to soul purpose and Highest Self. Session 5: You are the light of the world. Expression of gifts, maintaining your unique frequency, life as art, and creativity as life force. Wholeness and peace. |
The spiral is important because it shows us how every moment of expansion refers to itself and its origins, where it has gone and where it is going, as it all builds in the present moment. The spiral builds on its path with the wisdom of perspective. The threads of the structure of the class can be read from within going without or without going within and still take you to a place like home, wherever you are in it.
Christ consciousness is a practice, a worldview, that finds you, not the other way around. It is the discipline for those who seek the wisdom of the heart. It’s not a religion but a mystical practice of enlightenment, evolution, and transformation through the path of oneness with the divine. It reminds us that “Christ” is not a name but a title, meaning “anointed one of God”. Yeshua’s is a heart-centered practice that teaches us how to anoint ourselves in the breath of god so that we may know peace and wholeness. Which is why I find it so necessary to take back Yeshua’s message and the concept of Christ back to the people, as it was always intended to be! Christhood is not about the worship of death and a heaven that only exists for some in the afterlife, but a restorative spiritual integration through our living breathing humanity. What can we learn about interconnectedness and living from our values from an ancient radical dissident preaching about love? How would we live if we knew we were all anointed and one with god? How can we take back our power from those who would seek to use it against us?

Reclaiming Christ is taught through a gender expansive lens. A soul expansive lens. Using metaphor, storytelling, and parables as a way to deepen our connection to god within, we will use a number of modalities to cultivate a relationship with Christ consciousness.
This class is led by Alia Walston, a Black queer agender being who has experienced chronic illness, financial crisis, and trauma. It is a dogma-free zone with a focus on building an accessible and autonomous personal practice; I facilitate awakenings within yourself through contemplation, feeling, bibliomancy, energetics, and channeling. |
The course begins on October 26. Further dates and times for meeting will be decided upon within the group. In other words, there is no set end date, but there will be guaranteed 5 sessions over Zoom with me as lead facilitator through the end of 2023. This class will also include 1-3 guest facilitators (TBA) who will offer their approaches to mysticism and Spirit devotion.
Tarot, astrology, energy work, Gnosticism, and Christianity will be talked about throughout, but you do not need prior knowledge of any of them to join.
The cost of the class is $333, with payments in two installments available. There is one space available for trade for assistance with admin work (namely hosting the Zoom sessions, helping with student communication, etc). Priority to queer BIPOC folks for this spot.
