Greetings from Chicago! I am briefly in town this week to take care of some personal business, but I will be flying back to Austin and reuniting with Vanessa the van soon enough!  Really happy to share this video  on the card for the day, the   3 of Cups, the  lessons we've learned over Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio, and what energy to bring to our entrance into Sagittarius season.  I also touch on what I have learned from the van life gatherings I have attended over the last month, and plans for future videos and guides.  Check out the video below and join in the conversation in the comments: What makes your community special? I wanted to get a meditation finished and posted today for the Taurus full moon, but after a long and challenging day, I have to be honest with myself that I can't get it all done before midnight. So! The recorded meditation will go up tomorrow - in the meantime I've included the words below.

I've been doing more traveling than I have in a while these past couple of weeks - prioritizing my self-care has been difficult, but really important for me during these transitions. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Can't wait to share more ! <3

It being Scorpio season, we know that this is the time that we get called out for our foolishness. Put a Mercury retrograde on top of that and we are being invited to be incredibly honest about where we are, how to be patient, how to trust, and how to get our needs fulfilled. Clarity is key here - you may be feeling a huge rumbling of inscrutable emotions, but now is the time to not just let yourself get overwhelmed by them, but to really listen to them, and give then room to breathe and express themselves. Journaling, making art work, and spending quality quiet time alone is the name of the game. It’s not a time of acting on your emotions, but starting conversations and planning your future growth and transformation, especially as they align with your most passionate, deepest, truest dreams, is highly favored right now. 

Today is also a magical day November 11th, 11-11. Repeating numbers such as 111, 222, 333, etc, are referred to as angel numbers, and are an opportunity for us to witness our alignment with divinity at that moment. These are great times to set intentions, make wishes, thank our guides, and send love. 11 denotes mastery, intuition, and high vibrational angelic communication. When you see repeating numbers like 111 or 1111, it is a sign that you are guided, seen, and connected with all that is. Use today as an opportunity to create spells with deep intention, surrender, and absolute trust in your divinity. I am going to get mine going at 11:11pm this evening! I will send out energy and light to all of you during my ritual as well, as a special thank you for being part of this community. 

On a personal note, I have experienced a lot of emotional and spiritual processing in the last several weeks. It was exhausting, but deeply important work that left me feeling pretty spent. I’ve been giving myself space to prioritize self-care on a level that I haven’t allowed myself in a while. It’s small, and there’s definitely a part of me that feels guilt for not being more productive during this time, but I know that being able to take space for restoration was really essential. I’m still working through some fears around being visible (that’s the whole reason this website exists, to push myself and others past our comfort zones), in addition to biases surrounding money and wealth. But I feel more equipped to not only face them, but to develop a routine of actions and behaviors that push me more towards expansion instead of playing small. Calling that a win for a challenging season. 

I also just celebrated my 32nd birthday - the first birthday I have spent away from any friends or family. I decided to go camping alone, and because it was the middle of the week, I had the site (a horse ranch outside of Houston) all to myself. So I spent the whole day peacefully communing with nature and hanging out with one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. Having days like that were a really big part of my vision for life as a self-employed traveler. It was everything that I could have asked for. Simple, slow, peaceful.

In the coming days I’ll be sharing about the two van life meetups that I have experienced, and how those have helped reaffirm and reinvigorate my commitment to this lifestyle, and to teaching a practice of non-judgement as part of my work. I’ll also be posting about tomorrow’s full moon in Taurus, one of my favorites of the year.
