If you didn't already see on social media, starting today, I will be offering free/donation-based reiki meditation sessions for the collective every Wednesday live on my Instagram page! For the next several weeks, you can join me at 11:11 am PST/1:11 pm CST for the session. All you need to bring is yourself and an open heart. Before I got started, I pulled the 5 of wands and used that card to set the intention of centering our inner voice and passion. You can read the text for the meditation after the jump! In preparing for this meditation, I pulled a tarot card for us. and the card that I pulled is the 5 of wands. The wands in the tarot represent the element of fire - our passion, life force, creativity, the spark of life. 5s are points of change, intensity, depression, or dispersion. This card, in short, is about chaos. The noise of the outside world. Miscommunication, unease. Screaming into the void and hoping something sticks, something shows up. This card asks to take a moment. To look around you. To see the connections that are being missed. This is always true but especially during these challenging times it’s easy to get wrapped up in the loudest voices in the room. Those loud voices are often ones of fear, lack, untruth, helplessness. This moment calls for surrender yes, but we are not helpless. If you are watching/listening to/reading this, you are still here. You still live and breathe and you are safe in this moment. So the intention of this session today is protection from the chaos of the outer world and anchoring us in our own voice, our own truth, and our own peace.
Feel into where you are right now in your body. If you are angry that’s okay. If you are scared that’s okay. If you are sad that’s okay. If you are sick that’s okay. It’s not what is happening to you, or what you are feeling that is the problem. It’s not being within your center while you move through it that causes the pain, anxiety, and discomfort. So right now consider who does your anger serve? Who does chaos serve? Does it exist to aid you in your healing and expansion? Does it center you in your power? Does it help you show up for your community and loved ones? If the answers to these questions is no then the invitation is to become an observer. To bear witness to the chaos and external drama, and to see the frayed ends, the broken wires, the disconnections, the missed communications. And to know that : in this moment it is not your job to fix this in this moment it is not your job to add to the disarray in this moment your invitation is to show up for yourself even when you don’t feel like it to show up for yourself even when you don’t know the why to show up for yourself even when it feels like there’s no hope When the outside world moves through chaos, find your center within. Know that this love its stronger than fear, helplessness, or lack. This love is yours to own and cherish. Comments are closed.
