you are equal parts power and softness.  protect the tender parts of you with the energy of a fierce mother protecting their child. there is nothing that you cannot face. nothing too great or overwhelming. when you feel like the darkness is swallowing you whole, see yourself in that void. see that it is your own mouth open wide, wide and dark enough for you to be held, to be nurtured, to be healed.

your voice is needed. your voice is sacred. each step you take towards embracing your own authority is an affirmation of your sovereignty. when your voice feels too soft and scared to emerge, see yourself as a giant. see yourself as a skyscraper. see yourself as a monsoon. your breath sweeps us up in your glory. your words fill our bodies like holy fire.

to be human is to have choice. recognize that there is choice in all things, even in that which feels passive. inaction is a sneaky way to stay small. find the freedom in your discernment, don’t let it paralyze you. there is no right or wrong. what you choose will get you to your destination, though one road may be more winding than another. stay measured and even-handed through this process. the swords are a tool, not a weapon against you.
